Whether it’s on the trail, on a freeride or with the E-Fully at the bike park, the ROOTAGE EVO is a great choice. First of all, the over-ear helmet construction provides significantly more safety for side impact than a half-shell helmet. Furthermore, the EPP used on the ears is a multi-density material that doesn’t lose its protective effect even after multiple impacts and is also used in the back of the helmet. The fixed visor directs air into the large ventilation channels in the ROOTAGE EVO, cooling the head. The ROOTAGE EVO is the first bike jet helmet with a size adjustment system and also allows the wearer to wear a neck brace. Protection, comfort and flow are guaranteed with the ROOTAGE EVO.

3D Fit
3D Fit

The height of the Run-System at the back of the head can be adjusted using the 3D-Fit System. The helmet can be perfectly adapted to the head in a five-point gradation system. This improves comfort when wearing, safety and accuracy of fit.

Ceramic Shell
Ceramic Shell

All Alpina helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.

Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate plate that give inmold helmets a touch of refinement. It covers the edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the helmet's durability.

The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes.

Inmold
Inmold

In the inmould production process, the polycarbonate upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under intense heat and pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.

Run System Ergo Flex
Run System Ergo Flex

The Run System enables all Alpina helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. The Run System Ergo Flex is the lightest, most comfortable adjustment system offered by Alpina. The delicate design clings evenly to the head and thus increases protection. The Run System Ergo Flex can be adjusted using fine increments – there’s no helmet more lightweight, more comfortable or with a more custom fit.
