Terms and Conditions of Participation for “Conquer the city” contest

The contest is run operated by ALPINA SPORTS GmbH, Hirschbergstr. 8-10, 85254 Sulzemoos, Germany. Only persons of legal age residing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are eligible to participate. Participate in Alpina’s contest by posting photos or videos of a city tour with the hashtags #conquerthecity and #alpinagoesurban and by putting a link using  @alpina_sports on the social media channel Instagram. It is therefore required to have a valid and public account on one of these platforms in order to participate. A gallery of uploaded posts will appear on the homepage: campaign runs from 06/05/2019 – 30/06/2019.

Each participant may only enter the contest once. Employees of the uvex group, any cooperating partners and their relatives are ineligible for participation. If there are multiple participants, the winner will be drawn by lot, with the drawing taking place at the end of the campaign period. The winner will be informed through their social media account on Instagram. If the winner does not respond within one week, Alpina will be entitled to draw a replacement winner. The prize value cannot be paid out in cash and the prize cannot be exchanged. By entering the contest, the participant agrees that Alpina will publicly announce the name of the winner. In addition the participant concedes Alpina a non-exclusive, spatial, factual and temporal unlimited right of use to the content of the post. The participant assures that any rights of third parties, especially copyrights, won’t be infringed by uploading the post at the homepage, which is created by Alpina for this purpose.  Alpina reserves the right to alter or cancel the contest if necessary. The personal data of participants will only be used to operate the contest and will be deleted subsequently. The winner’s data will be shared with the event organisers (Alpina Sports and Hardbraker). All decisions are final.

Each participant fully exempts Instagram from liability. The competition is not connected to Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Instagram.
