The Hawkeye S lenses are optionally equipped with the top technologies QV (high contrast enhancing, polarizing and self-tinting), Q-LITE V (cotrast enhancing and self-tinting) and Q-LITE (contrast enhancing). A Hydrophobic coating ensures clear vision and Fogstop on the inside prevents the lens from fogging up. Adjustable nose wings allow the goggles to be customized. For a comfortable fit, the frame is equipped with a 2-component design.
Cylindrical lenses allow a flat, straight-line goggle construction. Compared to a spherical lens, the distance to the eyes is smaller. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent icing or fogging of the glasses and ensure a clear view.
All Alpina sports/ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This means that moisture has no chance of forming a closed layer. The lens therefore does not fog up and the view remains clear.
Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.

Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
