JUMP 2.0 QV
Order number: A9209112
See the full panorama of the mountains and keep all the other skiers and snowboarders in sight on the piste – the visor on the Jump 2.0 QVMM guarantees this in all weather. Besides offering protection from air streams and enough space to wear optical correction as well, it’s also contrast-enhancing and self-tinting thanks to the high-quality QuattroVarioflex technology. This means that the visor automatically adapts to the current weather. The photochromatic lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. Additionally, the visor provides 100% protection against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays. Independent design, high quality fitting and workmanship, proven fit: The Jump 2.0 is one of the premium visor helmets from Alpina. It has a structuring in the EPS, whereby the ventilation is clearly noticeable. Air is actively channelled into the interior, guided along the head and moved outwards via openings in the rear. This prevents heat build-up and guarantees optimal air circulation. The Run system, with which the helmet can be adapted to the individual head shape, is combined with a neck warmer. This keeps the neck pleasantly warm even on cold and windy days skiing and in addition, the comfort is improved. No feature is left out of the Jump 2.0 QVMM – so winter athletes can fully enjoy their day on the piste.
Technologies
Airstream Control
Airstream Control

Air vents at the top of the helmet can be opened and closed using the Airstream Control mechanism. The air flow can thus be regulated and adapted to the weather conditions. This ensures perfect air conditioning inside the helmet at all times.

Ergomatic
Ergomatic

Proven a hundred thousand times over and used on all Alpina helmets: the strap buckle with the red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically.

Hard Shell
Hard Shell

Hardshell helmets consist of a Hi-EPS core and an impact-resistant outer shell made of ABS or polycarbonate. This combination ensures maximum safety.

Hi-EPS
Hi-EPS

The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes.

Multi Mirror
Multi Mirror

Multi Mirror is a lens on which up to sixteen reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Multi Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.

Quattroflex
Quattroflex

Quattroflex is the term for a specially coloured lens in ruby red, which reduces the proportion of blue in visible light. This increases contrasts in the snow, allowing surroundings to be perceived better and more quickly. Thanks to the lens’s brightening effect, the contours and textures of the piste can be perceived better even in poor weather conditions. A polarisation film of highest optical quality built into the lens completes the Quattroflex effect: Distracting scattered light and glares are filtered out and the contrast is also enhanced. Reflections and mirroring are minimised, which allows icy surfaces and dangerous situations to be seen much better.

Run System Classic
Run System Classic

The Run System enables all Alpina helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. The Run System Classic scores points for its price/performance ratio. It is a simple and sturdy wheel that holds the helmet securely in place where it belongs: on the head.

Varioflex
Varioflex

Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
