RO27 – The interactive Pushbikers-Office
The concept of RO27
The new showroom of the Maloja Pushbikers is also their new headquarters. RO27, based at Rosenheimer Str. 27, is intended to be a meeting point for the Pushbikers and all cyclists are also welcome at the same time, no matter if they want to become Pushbikers or already wear the jersey of another club or team.
From Thursday to Saturday RO27 is a shop and café with fixed opening hours. Here you will find everything you need to get on your bike in Pushbiker style. From the team jersey to all manner of other team-partner products. A selection of Alpina helmets and glasses is also available. And of course there are also the two things that are a must at any cycling meeting point: fine coffee and snacks.
Espresso in a leather armchair
RO27 is also to be used to forge new plans and concepts. For its own UCI Continental road and rail team - and beyond. A sportsperson's home with a dynamic model: A meeting point for team riders, cycling enthusiasts and anyone who wants to meet the Pushbikers. A lively space where the Pushbiker philosophy is lived - meeting up with friends, talking shop about cycling or just philosophizing about the meaning of life. Ride past and drop in on trips, stop and have a really good espresso from a 30 year old Gaggia coffee machine. Prepare for the next few kilometres in comfortable leather armchairs between ethnic carpets and cycling-related finds in a design and feel-good atmosphere. A regular programme with workshops and lectures in the fields of nutrition, health & fitness, repair & service, product development, lifestyle, photography and design is also planned for the future.
Something special
"It's a big stroke of luck that we've got this place," says Christian Grasmann, manager of the Maloja Pushbikers. Grasmann had the idea for a business model like this a long time ago. At the end of 2018 there was an opportunity to take over the premises in the immediate vicinity of the Pushbikers workshop. "This small house at the railway crossing has its own history with character and very different uses. That alone fascinated me. The people of Holzkirchner know it as a cycling location and we want to create something very special here in the coming years," says Grasmann.
