S-WAY V
Order number: A8585229
The Alpina S-Way V has a large spherical panoramic lens and therefore provides an enormous field of vision and maximum protection. With the high-end lens technology Varioflex, the Alpina S-Way V are excellent sports glasses for any lighting and weather conditions. The lens optimally adjusts its tint to the lighting conditions (photochromatic): light when it’s overcast outside, and dark when the sun is shining. This puts the protection level range at cat. 1 through 4, meaning it is suited for use on glaciers (however, they may not be used in road traffic). Fogstop prevents the lenses from misting up, and repels water and dirt more easily thanks to the hydrophobic coating. The malleable straps with adjustable angle allow the glasses to be adjusted individually to the shape of the face. The mirroring reflects infra-red rays, ensuring 100% UV protection at all times. The best visibility. The best protection. At all times. That’s what the Alpina S-Way V offers.
Technologies
100% UV-A, -B, -C protection
100% UV-A, -B, -C protection

All Alpina lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.

Cold Flex
Cold Flex

Coldflex is a specific material used on the temple ends of the glasses or on the nose pads. It can be uniquely adapted to the shape of the face or nose. This results in an optimal fit of the glasses.

decentered lenses
decentered lenses

Decentered lenses ensure that there are no distortions in the field of vision. The high-quality decentered lenses from Alpina provide outstanding visibility without distortions. A safety plus on the piste.

Fogstop
Fogstop

All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear.

hydrophobic lens
hydrophobic lens

Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nano-structure on the lens that allows water to roll off. Dirt is also transported away. The lens is thus not only clean, but dries faster too.

Mirror
Mirror

Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.

optimized airflow
optimized airflow

Optimized Airflow: Heavily domed lenses envelop the face perfectly. They protect the eyes from draughts and cold and improve vision. The indirect air flow also prevents the lenses from fogging up.

Varioflex
Varioflex

Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
