Ski goggles with 180°+ view have a special frame, which is also combined with an extra-large panoramic lens. This means you can see more than the 180-degree field of view prescribed by the CE standard. You retain a better overall view - and can perceive hazards in your peripheral field of vision earlier.

Airframe venting is an intelligent ventilation system for ski goggles. Air vents at the sides and bottom with special foam covers allow a continuous movement of air within the body of the goggles. This circulation of air disperses moisture preventing the lens from misting up.

All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear. 

Magnetic Lens is a magnetic switching mechanism that allows the lens to change quickly and simply. A dark outer lens can affixed along the light base lens. This allows the glasses to adapt quickly to diverse light conditions.

Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.

Over the Glasses are designated as the glasses you can wear over normal vision aids. They are designed to allow enough room inside and space on the sides for a glasses frame.

Seeing contrast with clarity is a basic feature of sports goggles for ALPINA. This is why we developed the contrast-enhancing Q-Lite technology, which makes contrasts more visible on the trail and the road, helps colours appear richer and provides sharper vision. This allows the eyes to remain focussed for longer so that they are less strained and perform better in crucial moments.

Skid Grip is a special rubber coating on the inside of the eyewear strap. They prevent the ski goggles from slipping on the mostly smooth surface of the ski helmet.
