The Twist family is entering a new generation: the sixth. The fit has proven itself, the look and feel are new, modern, edgy and yet light in form. The Twist Six is made for everyone and every woman. The trail, gravel, river and hiking paths. The Twist Six is as versatile and surprising as its name. The Twist Six HR V is the model with a classic half frame and ALPINA's top technology Varioflex (V). This means that the lens is photochromic and darkens or brightens automatically. Depending on the light conditions. Completely automatically. The Twist Six HR is also available with other lens technologies and in a narrower S version. Always included: the patented temple inclination.

100% UV-A, -B, -C protection

All Alpina lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.

optimized airflow

Optimized Airflow: Heavily domed lenses envelop the face perfectly. They protect the eyes from draughts and cold and improve vision. The indirect air flow also prevents the lenses from fogging up.

Varioflex

Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
