You can wear the FlowPad knee protectors wherever you like. But away from the trails, they may look a little odd. They will protect your knees in any case. Despite their slim shape and lightweight construction, the FlowPad knee protectors are Level 2 certified. This means they absorb moderate to severe impacts with ease, so your knee will not hurt after a crash. The SAS-TEC pad is removable, allowing the protectors to be washed easily after a muddy ride. The material is breathable and comfortable even on longer tours. The protector pad is held in place by a tightly woven, abrasion-resistant aramid outer material. An additional TPU layer reinforces the construction and is designed to help the protector slide more smoothly without catching in a crash. Integrated side pads made of EVA foam provide additional protection—even from your own frame. The FlowPads' long design has been tested over thousands of vertical metres and found to be good—very good, in fact. Thanks to their long design and specially positioned silicone strips on the inside of the cuffs, the protectors do not slip and can be combined perfectly with padded shorts. That also puts an end to the Jerry gap between shorts and protector. Whether pedalling, jumping or pumping, the FlowPad stays exactly where it should. The FlowPads are supplied without packaging in a versatile mesh bag. After all, you do not want to put mud-covered protectors in your car or suitcase. A mudguard is placed in the mesh bag and acts like a hanger for the store. It is included as an extra—for you and your bike, protecting against dirt.
