Dynamic, sporty, lightweight: The Turbo Air V is suitable for all activities where the eyes need protection from sun, wind, and weather – whether on a bike, on foot, or cross-country skiing. The rimless design is not only a style statement, it also makes the Turbo Air V particularly lightweight. The “V” stands for Varioflex technology, which automatically adapts the lens to current light conditions. Its range extends from S0 – a minimal tint for very poor visibility – to S3, a strong tint for bright, sunny conditions. The special 45° lens cut ensures improved airflow and gives the Turbo Air that extra touch. For an optimal fit, the cold-moldable nose pad can be individually adjusted. Rubberized temple tips provide a secure hold on the head, keeping the glasses exactly where they belong even during downhill rides, sprint runs, or on poorly prepared cross-country ski trails.

100% UV-A, -B, -C protection

All Alpina lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.

Fogstop

All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear.

hydrophobic lens

Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nano-structure on the lens that allows water to roll off. Dirt is also transported away. The lens is thus not only clean, but dries faster too.

optimized airflow

Optimized Airflow: Heavily domed lenses envelop the face perfectly. They protect the eyes from draughts and cold and improve vision. The indirect air flow also prevents the lenses from fogging up.

Varioflex

Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
